With a view: The Wolfgangi Church

The beautiful Wolfgangi Church in Hollenegg can be reached on foot, by bike or by car. It offers a wonderful panoramic view of the entire landscape and is also a place to find peace and recharge your batteries.

A visit to Stainz Castle

Not far from the Wildbachberg, just a good ten minutes away by car, lies Stainz Castle. The baroque building towers high above the roofs of the market town, surrounded by the castle's own vineyards and orchards. The extensive grounds invite you to stroll in all their splendor: from the courtyard to the cellar, along the arcades to the castle terrace.

A ride on the Stainzer Flaschenrlzug

The Schilcherland can be explored in a wonderfully nostalgic way on the Stainzer Flascherlzug. The journey from Stainz to Preding and back takes a good two hours. On board you can enjoy musical entertainment and regional cuisine at the stops along the way - fun for all ages!

Excursion to Deutschlandsberg Castle

The listed Deutschlandberg Castle sits on a high rocky outcrop above the Laßnitz River with a view over the wide valley. The exciting walls take you back in time, and the castle restaurant spoils you with seasonal delicacies. Only 10 km from Wildbachberg.

Tasting at the Farmer-Rabensteiner vinegar factory

Sour makes you happy: Over 80 types of vinegar, many of which have won awards, are produced at the Farmer-Rabensteiner gourmet farm. In addition to tasting the vinegar in the gourmet room, you can also watch the pumpkin seed oil being pressed or browse through the pumpkin farm shop: nibbles and sweets, pesto and jams, liqueurs, schnapps, even beer and cosmetics made from Styrian pumpkin are available here. The gourmet farm is just 5 minutes by car from your holiday retreat.

For those with a sweet tooth: The Zotter Adventure World

The taste of the special Zotter chocolate is well known far beyond the borders of the country. From the Wildbachberg you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the sweet world of the chocolatier (1 hour's drive from the Wildbachberg). According to the motto from bean to bar You can learn and taste everything about chocolate on a tasting tour or at the cocoa cinema. Not a chocolate lover? There are also organic farming and works of art to discover in the park. 

Tee off at the nearby golf course

The Schloss Frauenthal Golf Club is just three kilometers from the Wildbachberg. In the castle park and over the western Styrian hills, golfers can enjoy the view of the wide Schilcherland. We are a partner hotel of the Schloss Frauenthal Golf Club, which means that as our guest you receive a reduced green fee (60 instead of 100 euros).
